Hello, I’m Paul , a Data Analyst based in Queensland, Australia, with over 20 years of professional experience turning data into meaningful, decision-ready insight.

My career began in software development before evolving into data analytics, where I’ve worked extensively with SQL Server, SSRS, SSAS, DTS/SSIS, and enterprise reporting environments. In 2012, I transitioned into the Qlik ecosystem, working with QlikView and later Qlik Sense from its early beta release, delivering solutions across both commercial organisations and government agencies.

Since 2015, I’ve been teaching on Udemy, where I’ve had the privilege of supporting more than 137,000 students worldwide in developing practical skills in SQL, data modelling, and analytics — maintaining an average instructor rating of 4.6/5.

In recent years, my focus has expanded into Artificial Intelligence , specifically how tools like ChatGPT can be integrated into real-world analytics workflows. Rather than treating AI as a novelty, I approach it as a structured capability: something that must be designed, controlled, and applied intentionally within professional environments.
